Businesses and organizations run on spreadsheets. They are easy to share, collect and organize information, and many data-rich site owners prefer them over editing content via Drupal's web interface.
In this session, I will do a live demonstration showing how to create a Drupal site with drush (I know, it's for beginners, but beginners should at least be aware how easy drush will make life for them someday), create a basic content type, and import the data creating nodes from a spreadsheet using the Feeds module. Next I will show them how to create a simple XML or JSON endpoint for their content using the Services module, enabling another service or mobile application to ingest their data from our "headless Drupal" site.
